Food Assistance Provided to 10 Families

Ten families in urgent need of food have received emergency food assistance under the ASG/DR Congo Nutrition and Food Security project. This project provides emergency services to individuals and families in one or more of the following areas: clothing, food, and shelter.

The goal of this project is to create hunger-free environment where children and needy families receive food assistance while our interventions strengthen their capacity in terms to improve the quality of their lives.

In fact, since 2003, ASG has distributed more than three tons of food to individuals and families in urgent need either directly or as incentives for their participation in its HIV, STD, TB and Malaria awareness workshops.
