ASG Tackles HIV Awareness In Any Setting

New York, February 2004:

The African Salvation Group is bringing our workshops to a home near you. In response to participant's feedback about inconvenient travel to our workshops, the ASG is trialing workshops conducted at volunteer particpant's homes in New York City. We have already held two such workshops in homes and, so far, response has been good.

There are many New York City neighborhoods where African immigrants live that have a high prevalence of HIV. We will continue these small group-level intervention workshops whereever they are needed. The African Salvation Group will offer to hold workshops in any setting: home, beauty salons, public gahterings, etc. to get our awareness message across.
